Realities

The revelation is clear through these frames

What does it mean to unveil the eyes that see through glass?

The fact of the matter remains

We judge every person we pass

Whether it be on the train, bus or car

Our first thoughts jump into our minds

Ideas that they are odd, ugly or basar

Despite that we are all one of a kind

We can’t fight these feelings and we never should

Our judgments are self defense

For if we could think better things we would

Despite any consequence

Not always are our thoughts bad

Perhaps we perceive them as better

Instead of us thinking of the assets we had

We envy the brand of their sweater

There’s people who come and people who go

They all leave their own mark

The difference is some of them don’t even know

How they leave us in the dark

Are they who we perceive them to be?

Based upon every person’s physique?

We create these assumptions from false realities

Yet the truth is all that we seek.
