Realities of Wishing Upon Stars


As I lay out in the cold My mind raced with unanswered questions. How did I get here? Why? My life, being so perfect Ended up so harshly. Wishing on stars isn't the answer Though hope is motivating, But look where that got me? If my wish came true, would I be here? I would be elsewhere. Living fantasies, helping others. But instead I just close my eyes, Letting the darkness surround me...
