Reality
I’m told that you exist
not a figment
nor a dream
Where are you?
I have been abandoned
set adrift in a sea
made of my demons and fights
If you are real
where are you?
Not caring for me
Where are you?
As life collapses
I am alone
no one to save me
If you are real
where are you?
Not saving me
Where are you?!
Trapped in a cage
of my mistakes and failures
left to rot
If you are real
where are you?
Not freeing me!
WHERE ARE YOU?!
Tears flood my face
brought by pain and ache
disfiguring me
If you are real
where are you?
Not comforting me!
Where are you
because I don’t know
