REALITY
When I got the news I thought it was a joke
Had to pinch myself twice just to make sure I was woke
How could it be so suddenly that you had to leave this earth
Everyone on Facebook had to make the stuff worst
You are way too young to be put up on a shirt
Still crying as I speak I can still feel the hurt
You would tell me all the time "taizia you’re crazy"
And I would say I'm dropping out and you would say don't be lazy
Because when I needed you most you were by my side
Although freshman year we didn't see eye to eye
But I gave you a chance and soon found out
That being an amazing teacher wasn't all you were about
See you can dance and you even knew my songs
Although everyone makes mistakes you seemed to never do no wrong
& they told me not to cry but for you I'll tell try my best
Your goal for us to make it and for us to have success
It's like I'm in a nightmare but this really not a dream
I understand now you weren't as happy as you seemed
See you were the type that left you problems at home
And for you I'll try my best to make it look like I am strong
But I'm telling you right now that I cry everyday
First my mother then my teacher man they took y'all both away
It's like your smile really brightened up my day
And usually I don't do this but tonight I'm gonna pray
That I choose the right path
And I make the right decisions
When I got demerits you would say
"Taizia
just listen "
I remember you made cookies peanut butter to be exact
Even when I was acting up you always had my back
We had a understanding that no one would understand it's hurts so much and feel like I lost a friend
We would talk about things even outside of school
I remember you got my shades and said "do I look cool"
And it hurts me the most to know I won't see you for a while
Everytime I close my eyes I can still see you smile
Heaven truly gained an angel
And from Rowe Clark as a team we really are thankful
