Reality

Every night is a cold one.

Scared of the creature called my past that constantly haunts me at night.

Up all hours of the night wondering.

If I  lay down.

Close my eyes.

Will I see the sun rise?

Will I see my mothers bright smile or

Hear the screams of a crying child.

Or will I wake up to the sight of my father

saying

"Once again we are together."

Forever isn't what it seems.

Nor is life what it's meant to be.

I am what my past made me.

I am A FRIEND

I am A SON

I am A LEADER

I am Me.
