Reality

What to say

What to think

Have to find a way

It's swim or sink

How to act

Who to be

These are the thoughts

Consuming me

Everyday

I worry & worry

About what others think

I'm in such a hurry

Running around

In circles getting nowhere

My worries surround

To be my own person I don't dare

Unrealistic standards

I strive to meet

All these empty words

Don't even sound like me

Going through the motions

Passively

I struggle to deal with the commotions

Of reality
