Reality

The only dreams I remember

are the ones where we're together.

laughter

soft smiles

skin on skin

loose lips

clashing teeth

twisting tongues

hand in hand

I always wake up happy,

but it's not real;

we aren't real;

dreams aren't real;

my happiness isn't real.

I don't sleep anymore.

I don't dream anymore.
