In Reality
When you meet me, I may seem naive; In reality, my naievete is simply a shroud for all of the pain, hurt, and experiences that I don't want anyone to see.
It may seem like I have no difficulties at all; In reality, my youth has been converted because of those challenges.
I seem to be indecisive; In reality, I am incredibly pensive.
I seem to be well rested; In reality, I get very little sleep.
I seem to be confident; In reality, I am humble and overmodest.
I seem to be cold; In reality, I often have too much to do to simply stop. and think.
I seem to be very private; In reality, I just know who to trust.
I seem to be reserved; In reality, I am outgoing.
It may seem that I can express my thoughts clearly; In reality, I want you to hear what I’m not saying.
It may seem that things come naturally to me; In reality, I work harder than ever when you’re not looking.
It may seem that I get distracted easily; In reality, I am often just ruminating.
It may seem as though I don’t care what you think of me; In reality, I have a persistent fear that you might judge me if I do something as simple as breathe in the wrong direction.
It may seem that these words come to me like fish to water; In reality, finding these words is harder than finding a polar bear in a snowstorm.
In the chaos of that snowstorm is where you will find who you are and what others perceive you as will be lost and forgotten, leaving only the true qualities of who you are.
