Reality

In the distance it was dark,

I stood there staring upon the mark,

The mark of where I need to be,

But I am not there, It’s not me.

The mountains are real,

the water is blue,

It helps me think a thought or too,

About why I feel no wind or rain,

But I am not there, It's not me.

As part of this life, things are not real,

It is only the moment of boredom it will steal,

You can join in if you dare,

But I am not there, It’s not me.

As time passes,

The world stays the same,

Because I am just a player in this online game,

But I am not there and it is not me,

For it is my programmed character you see.
