Reality

I must have asked myself a hundred times

If this was going to work and I must admit that

Hope was keeping me company, but then

I should have known better.

I should have been wiser, but I learned.

I learned and I will keep on learning until I get it right.

I might be better off without hope at all, and then I won’t be so

Disappointed when my dreams come crashing down again and again.
