Reality Check

The light fades slowly

-it is the light in which sees good

Humans are dynamic, inconsistent, masked by illusions

-characteristics uncharted

Themselves. Their world. No care for those who tumble beneath.

No care for those who are nearest, for those who must see it.

Arrogance torments the soul of the man who gives illusions, fulfilling emptiness is a dark path

Strife, a lonley walk of the spirit,

a Raised voice a soundless echo of irrationality, attack, rage, and chaos

Language beyond the ears dig deep within the skin of hope, slashing veins that blood gives life

And slowly the bones weaken. dull. dry. dust. gone.

How can I say that I see change or a chance of making a better future, not just for me but for others

when the same problem holdiing us back is the same human nature that ties us down?

Illusions.

Illusions.

Wake up.

No difference. No change.

Reality has projected the world, it has been the one to watch. It has characterized our inner souls.

A good man is but a man who does good things.

Yet deep within, beyond the flesh and tissue, who is he.

Has he betrayed others, spoken harsh words, broken another's spirits?

What is his story, what is the mind he possesses?

Is it like that of a bandwagoner, a blind follower?

Intentions masked by the "will for good"?

A world- only in his eyes.

How can I love humanity, when it is all of us that give each other grief?

How can love be a way of life, if hate is taught through the examples we live out each day?

You. Me. We. Us. They.

The difference is our projection of the world.

Where is that understanding?

Why do I have to salvage for the good behind the false faces of human nature?
