A reality of depression

Black and gray

Is all they say

Boring, quiet

My thoughts turning into a riot

Lost at words

Words are blurred

I do not want this misery

Forever it will be a mystery

Why did this happen to me ?

Why can’t I be free

Others think clearly

I think eerie

I’m too scared to leave

All I do is grieve

Sleep

And repeat

Is this all just a dream ?

My tears running down a stream

Many question me

They expect me to be glee

How can I express something I can’t control ?

They all just come to me to condole

They never really mean

Am I really just causing a scene ?

No, I’m not

leave me here to rot.
