Reality dreams

I was a little one

scared of the dark

night light plugged in

sheets over head

worried about what was in the closet

open my eyes to nothing.

pitch black

like a hole that never ends

i enter it

and wake up older

School gets harder and harder

with no one to guide me.

Help is out of reach

All i need is sleep

i strive to be perfect

but nothing ever works

i am called a failure

self esteem is gone.

Wake up 18

work and school is life

study till the crack of dawn

sleep next to none

I am content

being who i am

my reality is a dream

dream came true.
