Reality Fairy Tale

L is for them long nights and lonely days

that I ball up and cradle myself wiping tears away

I is for the insecurities I feel

as I banish god’s paintbrush he landed on my face

F is for the fear of the future and the sequence of door

holding black holes inside waiting for my skeleton to fall dead

E is for the eternity of pain that will last as we come and go

watching us past by in the wholly world going into a ditch ahead

Life is what they call so great but what’s so great u say

It sucks u out yo lively joy until you wither away

They say be happy and brighten yo smile and so I also say

The pain that drained and left me insane took that all away

But so I stay and straighten up and look like picture day

And as I smile I try to be proud and save face another day
