Reality of a Hero

Hero.

Define the word Hero.

What do you think of?

Do you think of a knight in shining armor saving the girl?

Hero?

Do you think of people with superpowers flying in and saving the day?

Hero?

Or do you think of a person standing up for "the little guys"?

Hero?

When I hear the word Hero...

I think of the person getting back up after being pushed down for the hundreth time.

Hero.

I think of the single parents working two or three jobs to give their kids a better life than they had themselves.

Hero.

I think of the people that will voluntarily give their lives for anyone in need.

Hero.

Heroes are not defined by what we can do... But by what we will do.
