Reality of I
The flame in my soul,
The drive to my passion.
The beat to my heart,
The motive to my actions.
There is this part of me deep inside,
Deeper than my own humanity.
A part of me that digs deep into my sanity,
My heart,
Into depths of my mind and soul I cannot even bring to enough words.
With each stroke of my pen, I can hear my silent tears cry,
And I watch,
As all the beautiful colors of my mind turn into my life's shades of grey,
And my reality into the universe of nothingness that it derives from.
This bittersweet interaction,
Between my pen and involuntary words.
This is I.
This is who I am.
This is nothing more than a glimpse into my tainted soul.
