The Reality of Life

Stranded I am, on this

Endless land that seems to

Never stop extending beyond my sight.

Do I stay or be

Heedless of the uncertainty and

Embark on a journey to travel this

Land until I reach a

Place of happiness?

What place am I in?

How did I get here?

Yet I know the answers.

Indeed, this place, this

World, is a place of

Inordinate things,

Simple things,

Hopeful things,

Terrible things,

Ordinary things,

Daunting things,

I knew not of any these

Except I do now.

Never have I felt such

Odd emotions in such a

Desolate place.

Only there are

None to feel.

There are millions to see.

There once was a child

Hopeful he was

Ever so innocent

Never had he felt such

Horrible, terrible, but strange

Emotions. He was

Lead on by these

Powerful feelings

Moving onwards

Ever closer to reality.

I am this child.

All of these tales come from

My past unwinding for all to

See. I am just a person,

Only one person, but I have

Really, truly experienced these

Rash emotions.

You will too.
