Reality Rules All

Walking, pacing, turning In a world never ending Always spinning, running, dancing In time with nature’s prancing, Ever teasing, endless song. Never ceasing, always moving Through the turmoil and the thrashing, Lashing back to memories of painful times long gone, Wrenched back to reality by Arrival of the dawn. Reality, always hard, yet somehow happy all at once, That seeming waking dream with endless goals that haunt, taunt and tease as happiness slips through fingers, leaving marks - burns Red as day and hot as blood. Blood pulsing, pumping through, flowing up and down – True life force of all – a heal-all if ever One there was to find at all, at all In a world where reality – and thus pain – rules all, Rules all.
