Reality Strikes

Reality Strikes

Reality strikes

Fall down to real life

It’s over, it’s done

Love hasn’t won.

They’re here and they’re there

They’re everywhere

Reality strikes

As cold as a knife.

The thought comes to you

If this love was true

Was this just pretend?

Beginning and end?

We started at start

Then life turned a bend

Reality strikes

When we’ve reached the end.

Fire and smoke

I finally woke

I finally see

What we’re meant to be.

That’s fire and smoke,

It burned down my life,

It’s fire and smoke,

When reality strikes.
