Reality Vs Beauty
This world is corrupted, This world is so beautiful,
Full of sickness and death, Full of life and happiness,
The dark swollows the earth, The light covers the earth in rich yellows and reds,
Shrouds it, Baths it,
Suffacates it, And loves it dearly,
But why? I wouldn't change it for anything,
Do you feel it? You see it right?
Taking over your mind? You see the love?
Taking over your body? The laughter?
The corruption. The Beauty?
It surrounds us, It is everywhere,
In a daughters eyes, In a mothers eyes as she holds her daughter for the first time,
When she holdes her mother for the last time, In the fathers tears as he watches his son graduate from college,
In a cops eyes when he has to tell a wife that her, The proud smiles of a grandmother,
Husband is not coming home today, The crying of a wife, who gets to see her husband come home from war alive,
Do you feel the sadness that is around us, Who gets to see her husband come back from war,
Because I do. Do you see it? I do
Help us. And so should you.
