Realization

Ever since I was a little girl, I was afraid My circumstances had me in a whirl, but life still called my name Then I got a little older....maybe a little too old for my age And I gave up, because their lies were all the same And I know That life is for the living And I know That love is for giving But I no longer seem To possess that emotion "This, too, shall pass" But I'm a little unsure if I can last Why can't I find love in my life? Want it more than anything, but still I fail & try Don't know where to go Don't know who to hold close I can't… I won't… live like this anymore! And I know That life is for the living And I know That love is for giving But I no longer seem To possess that emotion "This, too, shall pass" But I'm a little unsure if I can last C'est la vive. (Well, that's life.) Mais je suis prête pour ça. (But I'm ready for it.) Qu est-que je peux? (What can I do?) Je ne sais pas. (I don't know.) Quel dommage…. (What a pity….)
