Realization of Attitude

There comes a time for self-reflection

When we view our life without affection

As we peer deep into our souls

We see a darkness as it unfolds

Then we look at life and can’t help but brood

That’s only because of our bad attitude

Many times, stories and fables are told

Of people so brave and heroes so bold

They got there not by thinking negative

But seeing a good even when relative

They overcame the improbable

By only seeing the possible

Many a lesson is learned from people who succeed

It’s the lesson of perseverance and will to proceed

There will always be times that you will be tested

Remember your goals can be manifested

Positivity in attitude for day to day life

Can minimize most of your negative strife

I wrote this for a class assignment. It hit home more than I thought it would.
