The Realization of the Detrimental Healing Abilities of Time

And I declared with such unwarranted authority
That the memory would soon fade
To a washed out impression forgotten behind years of profound moments
The capacity of the human mind unable to reverse the internal generalizations
That pilfer the exceptional and the distinguished with cunning ferocity
Until none are extraordinary
