Realizing

I Was Born Just a Lil Girl., On This Earth Where It Spins and Twirls I've Always Had a Mother Who Was Always Around., Yet a Father Was Never to Be Found I Grew Up in Negative Environments., Always Came Along With the Negative Comments How I Cant Do This and That., All Because I Wasn't Black Why Should Race Even Be Mention., Everywhere I Went I Felt the Tension For The Longest I Tried So Hard., But Then Life Caught Me Off Guard Seeing What My Mother Went Through for Her Own., Its a trait I Want When I Am Grown I Fell Off and Lost Track., But As of Now I'm Getting It All Back I'm Not Who I Used to Be., But Now I know Who is "ME" To The People Who Hold a Grudge., You Will Always Be the First to Judge I Dropped the Past., Because Where I Wanna Be., I Want it to Last

I wanted to read this cause the entry line sounded a lot like Eminem, and I relate to him, and I feel like I relate to your poem too. I love the last two lines. Excellent.
