Realizing your love was a lie

Realizing your love was a lie

This

This is to the guy that showed me love was a lie

You stuffed your mouth with promises you couldn't keep

Honesty

Honesty you said was the key to a fresh start

Yet you broke that trust between us

You let me go

You left me on the ground

Without lending a hand to pick me back up

Broken

Hurt

And crying

You tried to bring me down and break me more

Than you had already

You were falling for me

But you couldn’t admit that we had something

Something you thought would never be possible for you

Trust

Trust was something hard for both of us

But we both tried to cope. With our differences

It had never stopped you before

But that’s when I realized

You had been lying just to make yourself feel better

From what had happen to you in your past

You broke my heart

Your love tried to stab me in the back

From saying “i love you”

To saying “i hate you”

I hate you for breaking my heart

From going to real friends to just

Walking past each other

Pretending like nothing had happened

Love left
