Is that really me?

Is That Really Me?

By Rachel Z

Is that really me?

Her eyes are darker than before

Her smile less noticeable

Her skin pale in comparison

Is that really me?

No filter

Nothing to make her stand out

No Makeup

Nothing to make her feel beautiful

Is that really me?

One layer gone

slowly exposing her inner self

Is that really me?

Second layer on the floor

her strength starts to show

Third and fourth

her inner beauty is on display

Is that really me?

Last shell

She feels as though she is there naked

even though she is fully clothed

Is that really me?

She looks at me

She is confident

She is beautiful

Is that really me?

No Filter

No Makeup

She is me
