The Realm of Words Unspoken

I am lost but inside my words I can be found. An internal thought turned into an exterior transgression, as the life of one is superfluous with the sentiment that builds up inside. Hiding from the world is a difficult task, but possible with the use of precarious words that thrive on the sound of a nebulous heart. Unaware of the outlooks and numb to the pain, one looks for an outlet outside the realm of a life. As words flow and thoughts come tumbling in, I am released from the dreaded anxiety that I once felt. I am set free if only for a moment, upon a night of unblemished skies and shining stars. I can think up here as if I were lifted from my very own body lying soundlessly below. I grovel in the moonlight as I needlessly listen to the cacophony below, shedding their dread and deceit onto my wonder and vivacity. I am trapped within a world completely my own, but words have the aptitude to set my mind free from the life that I live among. One’s capacity and qualm sanctions the escape as if recalling memories from a world forgotten or a life once lived. A melancholy time where memories become a faint wisp of wind in the distance, but are still felt and loved by an exuberant embrace among the dark shadows of the night.
