Realm for Writing

When the wind blows I feel it It speaks melodies to me I scribble words quickly When the wolves howl I understand every need This is my home I feel free in this space This is where I mark my thoughts While the river flows I’m in the waves floating When the birds wake early I sing notes alongside them This is my life Poetry permits the struggles With the trees I grow With animals departing I walk against the earth My mind becomes clear of everything I know what I want to scrawl Paper and pen in hand spoken lyrics find the way Life here brings toils Burial attending and my will This: writing is my love
