Love isn't long glances and handholding

Sometimes just being there is enough

I could hold you while you cry

Or make you cry laughing

But I'll never hurt you intentionally

Because I love you

Sometimes an I miss you is all it takes

We don't have to talk everyday

I know you'll be there if I need you

Because you love me

Our love is not romantic 

Not by any sense

But for you

I'd gather the stars, make over the heavens

Or give you my last french fry

Sometimes it's the little things that mean the most

Because I love you

When you love someone it doesn't have to be grand

Just show them that your love is real

Do it as often as you tell them

Why?

Because everyone deserves love

And I love all of you

So, for you I'll hold the door

Or ask about your day

I'll buy you a coffee when you can't find your wallet

And when you do the same for me

I'll know it comes from the heart
