The Reap

Timorous faces

Against glass lips

Joined with firm embraces

And the swinging of hips

Earth-shattering presents

All tied up in laces

But sought after segments

Involving the lack of empty spaces

The heavy breathing

The forbidding to release

The relentless sting

The hoping to remain in one piece

Corpses shaking

Against bare coats

With her spirit aching

And tocsins trapped in throats

TheLyricBard

I have been writing passionately since I was about ten years old. When I was younger, I used to spend my days after school writing cheesy action/romance novels. Nowadays, I spend my time writing poetry, horror screenplays, and dystopian novels. I love using imagery, symbols, and hidden meanings! Random facts: I enjoy eating ice cream, cuddling, and watching city lights at night.
