The reaper says hi

Joy is such a distant emotion.

It’s friend my smile was lost in the commotion.

Tears no longer stain my skin,

what replaces is a crimson sin.

Love no longer pumps through my blood,

sadness is all that’s left to bud.

As the reaper gets ever so close,

all that’s left is to take my final dose.

I'll look into the abysses’ eye.

Smile for once as I say one last bye.
