& The Reason Is..

I write to handle all the anger I feel inside

My life has been on a rollercoaster and it hasn't been a fun ride

I write because it helps me to clear my head

I write because what I've seen makes me never want to wed

I write because my father won't return my calls

I guess he thinks I want something that's why he stalls

Writing takes some of my pain away

I feel like all my life I've been held at bay

I write because I've spent so much time alone

People get tired of my problems, I can hear it in their tone

I write because I am raised as an only child

I write because it's an alternative to being wild

I write because I dream of how good life would be

I write because I've paid the price and it hasn't been free

I write because I've been robbed of a normal life

I write because I've never seen my mother as a wife

I write instead of shedding tears

I write because my life has been a struggle for the first 17 years

I write in hopes that my life will soon get better

I write because I've got so many unmailed letters

I write because what doesn't kill you will make you strong

I write because in May 2014, I will prove my father wrong...
