THE REASON

THE REASON

I’m losing my mind slowly

As she walks out my miserable life patiently

If I had the power to turn back time I would do so definitely,

Not to feel loved by you but in order to fix what’s broken.

I’m sincerely sorry for the pain and broken part of you I’ve awoken.

Here comes the storm that I have always feared.

The sorrows that I openly promised happiness and the smiles we shared.

Dear lord please grant me the strength to make her understand, she is the reason why I wake up every morning with a smile on my face.

Why I would travel the world just feel her love and sink deep in her embrace.

There goes my better version of life.

The hands that held hope passion trust and a perfection of my life.

If I could turn back the hands of time,

I would make her understand that she is the reason.

And with her I can weather out any storm or season.

It may seem impossible but just hold my hand,

And we’ll fly with the wind and fill happiness in our lives like the sand in the river
