The Reason I Hate You
There are so many reasons
Why I hate you
The first is that you lied
When you said your love was true
You took me by the hand
And promised me the world
But you never thought that
Some day the truth will unfold
You told me I was
Your one and only
And made me think I would
Never know how it feels to be lonely
You kissed and caressed me
Like it was your first time
I often found it hard to believe
That you were mine
If only I knew
That my smile
And my joy
Was only for a while
You even wrote me love poems
And I loved how they were recited
But I guess both
Our destinies were decided
I can`t get you off my mind
But the love is gone!
This means it`s time
For us both to move on
Yes
There are so many reasons
Why I hate you
I can`t put them all in words
But most of all
I hate you because I loved you!
