Reason to live

Five thousand people
have climbed Everest…
We stare at them
and feel a bit envious…
You, me, and the rest.
They — full of pride
and shining with glare…
Try even hard
we know for sure,
we cannot get there.
So we humbly admit
with a bit of despair
there are peaks in this life
high above in the air
that we can never reach.
All we can do
is just sit back and stare.

*

Exotic sea gleaming
with all known hues
of the colour palette.
From very pale bluish
to deep tinted red.
Above raging waters
in a hazy fog, high
purple suns shining
on a green creamy sky.
Many people will say
flashy trick for the eye.
This will be wrong…
It’s hyper quality image
high def CGI,
fruit of cosmic research,
latest scream
of the sprawling AI.
To view distant planets
on the Galaxy map
is no longer unique
it’s now so easy
it just takes a click.

*

Whatever you seeking
is already found.
Don’t overdo it
just stay on the ground.

*

Who are trying to beat?
They are already beaten.
What are you trying to write?
It’s already written.

*

Whatever you’re saying
is already said.
The ancient magicians
won’t rise from the dead.
So no one can help you
reinvent time and space.
But hold on, don’t worry,
brighten up your face.

*

A special peak rises,
well within your reach.
It’s a reason to live,
you just have to believe.
Peak amazing and scenic
more famous than fame.
Stronger than power,
richer than wealth -
LOVE is its name.
