The Reason To Live

What was the root of it all?

I can't really say...

What's the meaning of life anyway?

Is it to bend or to bow

to live or to die

Is all those things we lift inside

Is it back down when our world was one block wide

When my brother pushed me to hard on the swing

And I fell down and cried

Is it the people who left

Or the ones that I miss

Is all those damn hotties I forgot to kiss

Is it back when I ran butt naked through the house

Or maybe something deep down I don't want to talk about

Is it a father or mother?

A sister or daughter?

All those failed tests or the mountains I conquered?

Is it it the people I meet

The video games I beat

Climbing trees and running through creeks

Till it was time to eat?

Hey, remember when I finally could jump up and touch the ceiling?

I was so darn proud!

Man, I love that feeling!

Is it back when I used to meet my girlfriend in her garage

Or when I got caught by her father getting the hell out of dodge?

Hey brother! I know you're not always going to be around

But we're there for each other and we'll always be bound!

I swear I'll always love ya!

You're rooted in my heart!

I'll be damned if I couldn't find ya even in the dark!

Maybe that's what I need!

Living life to the fullest with my family and me!

I think I finally found what I've been needing to see!

It's being with the ones you love

loughing louder than above

singing soaring like a dove!

It's loving what you do

Countless family and friends embracing you!

And as long as this is true

I swear life I love you!
