A reason for perseverance

The good and the bad,

We all have those days

Where we are battered, exhausted, and beaten

and nothing seem to being going anywhere

A shroud of darkness envelops the mind,

Opening the floodgates to sadness, anger and suffering

Our minds are like fortresses, taking on one enemy after another

Imperfections in the wall reveal what matters most to the soul

Every crack, crease, and scar reveal

An abundant source of knowledge

Aching to be grasped, applied, and improved

Nothing is perfect, nothing is normal and that brings a feeling

A feeling completely distinct, unnormal and what to some seems perfect

It is the inspiration that sparks

A wild fire consuming a forest, the Nile flooding the plains, the storm gathering above

Maybe they seem bad but its contrary to what people believe

The fire brings rebirth, the flood bring growth to crops and the storm brings water

People can judge your ideas

But you must look beyond

Bring your inspiration to fruition.
