The Reason Why
To think of a reason why I write
Is like thinking of the reason
Why I breathe, to be alive.
To feel that I can go atleast
A day knowing I can make it.
Writing releases the pain I feel.
The emotional pain that some take out physically.
Writing is like my therapist.
Well to be honest, poetry is.
I can say what I am feeling
Is words that some may not understand,
But those who do can, relate.
I can hide my feelings and not many can notice
In my writings...in my poems.
Writing overall helps me be alive,
Just like breathing.
I may not be a good writer, but to me
I am all the words I write.
All of those emotion I put in the poems that
Have run through my veins onto a
Blank sheet of no emotion.
I am the writer of my life.
To write is to breathe.
