Reason Why

I came to you for help

           for guideness

You huffed and you puffed

dragging your feet all the way

What am I supose to do when you don't help

           why am I to try?

You were me once

           so impressionable and fragile

You held my will to learn

and crushed it between you hands

letting it fall to the ground

What am I supose to do when you don't help

           why am I to try?

You shove your facts down my throat

           telling me to know

                        not learn

Give me a reason why
