The Reason Why Ink Touches Paper

The saying goes, “A picture is worth a thousand words,”
But I know that the 26 letters of the alphabet are what makes millions of those words.
So, I use my words to create the imagery that's worth a thousand words.
These images are filled with soul and vivid emotion to paint up the convictions of my rhymes.
I use words to get across the picture that I can’t capture between the mirror and the lens.
These words offer up the illustrations to bottled up feeling of everyday. These words I hope will illuminate the eyes of others.
So, why am I a poet? Because I hope the words I speak will contra up a beautiful easel for those who don’t speak out loud.
