The Reason Within

I write to fight.

But this is more,

More than you could know.

For only the heart knows

Why I fight.

Is it for Love

Or for Hate

That I fight

On paper,

On my arm,

On my soul.

It is a fight,

A struggle,

Deep within

That I let

My left hand flow,

But in all truth

For God,

Sometimes, I do not even know.

Yes, I question

Myself,

My life,

My reason for existence.

All I can say for sure

Is that I write to fight.
