Reasons

I never really thought I was beautiful

but I thought about it

and I think I could try to be beautiful

or really just believe it. I think I'm starting to believe it

I'm starting to believe that list I wrote.

That all these little things might actually make me beautiful

Reasons I'm beautiful

  • little freckles
  • really big teeth
  • all the books I've read
  • the books I've written
  • all my favorite quotes
  • my laugh that's way too loud and a little bizarre
  • my extreme ambition
  • the silver crosses I wear
  • phone calls with my best friend
  • the way I dance
  • blind dedication
  • all my youthful cyncism
  • the way I feel in water
  • brown eyes
  • long toes
  • perpetually chapped lips
