The Reasons

Why I write is the same reason for why I breathe It empowers It energizes It's natural Like a river flowing from one end to the next Words are flowing from thoughts to pen Pen to paper Creating the most brilliant craft A paper machete' Taking ideas and experiences and gluing them together onto a mold formed by creativity and ingenuity, the only requirements needed for poetry There is no need for flashy attractions for listeners to just be attracted Simplicity in an honest opinion is better than the fattest rhymes that any old school lyrical Cat can spit Having a mentality like felines we do what we want, we say what we feel, and challenge anybody who has any sens of what the truth may be Slowly, we become independent to the internal warnings The demons inside unleashed into expressions and words, carving deep scars on paper - showing only signs of silent execution Silence is the reason for why I write A lock that is shrouded by the idea of humbleness and serenity I stay silent... I stay silent because the words that are often spoken become empty promises that disappear into thin air unless constantly documented just to save the effort of remembering I remember the time that we were "meant" for each other The dreams and memories shared dashed away by endless words of misunderstanding and confusion only to end in silence.. I remember the time we made promises that would withstand the test of time only to prove a failure Our minds now continually evaluating the results in silence... I remember the time when forgotten images play back on the screen displayed in the back recesses of subconsciousness The haunting tales of disillusionment stalking multiple opportunities, threatening any optimism and resurrecting mistakes of ones darkest past As flashbacks call to our attention, we watch in silence... When silence becomes a speaker for the past, a voice is heard by the regret of the present To remember is the reason for why I write Hurts and disappointments Victories and celebrations Questions and answers Questioning whether the previous statement holds true or if the validity of the past endeavors hold proof to reoccurring and constantly changing theses Like the phases within a cycle, thoughts evolve from one to the next where I begin to hypothesize the reasons to Why I breathe Why I am silent Why I remember Why I write
