Reasons

I write when
My thoughts need to escape
My body crying out for me
To release it from turmoil
I write
To express hope
When I feel that it is lost
I write when
I see the world through new eyes
When the world is more than a vast
Sphere of land and water
I write when the world is lands and oceans full of dreams and possibilities
I write when my soul needs a break
When it wants scream and shout
In a world of silence
I write when I need to break free of my invisible bounds
Holding me on to a " reality" I do not trust
I write when I'm bored, happy, sad
I write when I home hungry for love or acceptance and life
Sometimes I just need a push or even a tiny shove to get me going
So I write.
