Reasons behind my Poetry

I write to release. With my hard shelled exterior, I let my insides bleed out the sorrows in spun spider webs: Streaming out of my hands, they rumble with the ferocity of tidal waves. Rising over the mounting height of emotional turmoil, it strikes then recedes into a stitched up wound. I write to remember. Time passes me without a glance and yet when I dwell into my past writings, Old journals and diaries come alive with the fragrances and thoughts of a younger self. I skim over the captured moments of sudden epiphanies that came into mind. I discern what was wrong, what was right, and what I could have done. My own underlying advice comes out like a bright light. I write to enjoy . To feel the ease of a gliding hand on paper in the surroundings of city lights or a breezy shore. To forget about the arduous life I live and to share the serene peace I can get, grasping a pen. It cultivates my perception; it cultivates my curiosity. How can I play with the letters on the page? How can I show what I saw and what I felt? It’s all a mind game for me, full of tricks and wins. I write to fight. Through thousands of years, the art of writing has proven to influence, change , and reflect our past selves, our past people, our past minds. Synthesizing ideas to broader audiences, an enriching world I can bring. I relate and understand. Building towers out of words, I imagine the world as it should be. And let the words flow out.
