Reasons I hate myself

I let myself feel loved
I’m trapped in my mind
I’m lost in the sounds
Of all my silent cries

The silence I see
Between my worlds
I let myself smile
When the pain sinks in

I paint my skin
With blood red
Depend on depression
To let me live

My mind is a mess
I hate my every move
I walk a mile
Just to fall back to you

Every path I took
Every wall I saw
My mind stopped working
I couldn’t talk

In a crowd of strangers
Talking and chatter
You stole my voice
My life in your hands

Depend on your hands
That aren’t there
Depend on your arms
That push me away

Depend on anxiety
To keep me from dying
Depend of pain
To keep my from going sane
