Reasons I Write

I write to ease the many stressors on my brain

I write to keep myself from giving into the pain

I write because my heart has been shattered

I write about things that should have mattered

I write to keep an open mind

I write because the world is so openly blind

I write because I need to vent

I write to wonder where hope has went

I write to keep myself sane

I write to have something I can gain

I write about the world; about me and you

But most importantly, I write because I want to
