Reasons Why

The thing I love in life is to see your smile.

I love it the most when I haven’t seen you in a while.

The days which separate us are always tough to get through,

But I could wait forever, Because I love you.

It’s because of you that my laughter fills the skies,

Because of you I hate to say goodbyes.

I love you for everything that you do,

I love you most of all because you are you.

You have shown me what love truly means,

Given me a shoulder on which I can lean.

When times are tough you’re always there for me,

You help me with my troubles that I can’t even see.

I lift you up every day and give you another reason to live,

For this, “Because I love you,” is my only reason to give,

Because of this love, I carry in my soul;

I can truly tell you that you make me whole.

You never shut me out of your life,

And you help me with my struggles and my strife.

I give you my heart and all my respect too,

All because of how much I love you.

Your love is unconditional and it always brightens my day,

When I’m around you, life is like a sunny day in May.

You love me for who I am and absolutely nothing more,

Because of the way you love me, I am filled to the core.

When you talk to me my heart skips a beat,

My love for you is something that nothing can defeat.

You have captured my heart with all your charms,

Because I love you I hold you tight in my arms.

I will care for you through sickness and health,

It doesn’t matter if you have no wealth,

Your love is the only thing that I desire,

To have love for you that’s fiercer than a fire.

Your elegant smile is far beyond compare,

And I’ll love you after you grow gray hair.

I’ll stay with you forever, even after my time is through.

All of this is because, I love you.
