Reasons why

We go to great measures,
Just to ensure we have the right gestures.
For in a world where we have to earn,
Shows us how much we have to learn.

We are responsible for our accountability,
But that’s not the case of an even probability.
For today I stand on a great foundation,
Tomorrow can find me on the edge of a confirmation.

Wasted are the days we could have solved all these,
Just so we can live in pure bliss.
For even if we put aside our diversities,
It still won’t be enough to erase the bitter memories.

So let’s come together to push forward,
Rather than let our emotions draw us backwards.
I’m willing to try,
But only if you’re willing to say the reason why.
