The Reassuming Letter to Myself

Dear Me,

Writing a letter to anyone feels like I am actually talking to others, who are so dear to me.  It feels like they would take their time to read my letters as if they are listening to me.  I never thought of writing a letter to myself until now.  I usually write my diary to talk with God.  God is the most important person in the world.  Even in my life.  I am writing a letter for myself to reassure myself.  Like God would.

I want to reassure myself that I deserve what God wants to give me.  Remember, God always has been here by my side.  He will lead you through everything.  The best thing about Him is that He loves me unconditionally no matter what I have done to Him.  He always awes me every day.  In the deep of my heart, I know I can't do it alone without Him.

I was this close to taking my own life away for countless times since the middle school.  No one knew, excepting God.  Until the very recent.  The first week of January in 2018 was truly impacting on me as it woke me up fully.  That time happened when I had the deep yet simple conversation with my lovely father.  Do you know what he said to me, which truly woke me up to the honest realization?

He said sadly, "I feel like I lost you as my daughter for a long time."  It just got me blurting into crying so hard as I tried to express my true feelings.  My hands were shaking as I was trying to write my feelings down on a notepad.  It felts like my words just couldn't get out of my mouth.  The same with my hands.  I finally was getting calm down as I was able to write my feelings down.  My father was patiently listening to me.  He embraced me when I cried again.  That kind of action reminds me of God.  God is very warm.  My father asked me out for our prayer date immediately.  That was adorable.  We sat down on the couch, starting to pray.

Honestly, I hadn't been honest with myself for a long time as I wasn't honest with God.  That is the most reason why I was struggling with myself mentally, physically, and spiritually.

That late night was one of my unforgettable moments -- when I finally became determined about my decisions, I sacrificed my whole life to God.  After my prayers, I felt like a feather.  All of these darkest times, I had been carrying a heavy burden, which I couldn't bear anymore.  At last, I am praising God for His unconditional love unto me.  God took all of my sins.  I keep cleaning my sins away until the end.  Don't forget that God will love to talk with me when we go out for a long walk.  Time is so precious to spend.

Thankfully, the only and one scripture of God keeps me away from taking my own life.  "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."  Philippians 4:13 (KJV).  In fact, God's Word really saved my life for countless times when no one was able to save me physically.  God uses my family and friends, who are so dear to me, to talk with me as if God is talking to me.  It awes me as always.  I am so grateful to have God in my life

Don't forget that.  Yes, I can do it.  With God's help and strength.  Just leap as I trust Him simply.

Love in Christ, always.
Me

P.S.
You can use this letter to reassure yourself.  A lot of love from me and God.
